Maungawhau Schools 100th Centenary will take place in 2012 The celebration dates for the centenary will be: Friday 30th March and Saturday 31st March 2012. To be held at Steamscene in conjunction with the opening of the steam driven sawmill and the sheep shearing plant.The two day event includes thrashing, chaff cutting, models. Steam sawmill operating twice daily and sheep shearing four times daily.
